The city-based chambers today hailed the state budget presented in the Assembly today.
"CII is happy to note that the state budget proposals have laid considerable emphasis on strengthening infrastructure, building new industries and generating jobs across sectors," the chamber said in a statement.
"It is heartening that 158 road projects of 2,188 km and 13 bridge projects in 11 backward districts are under implementation," said Mr Sudhir Deoras, chairman, CII Eastern Region.
