Changes in train services over work at Mettupalayam station

The Southern Railway has announced changes in the operation of some express and passenger trains for a month from February one, due to engineering and related works at Mettupalayam railway station.

Chennai Central-Mettupalayam Blue Mountain Express is partially cancelled between Coimbatore and Mettupalayam and it will terminate at Coimbatore and start from there itself, an official release said today.

Coimbatore-Mettupalayam-Coimbatore Passenger trains will also be partially cancelled between Karamadai and Mettupalayam, it said.

These trains will be operated up to Karamadai and will return to Coimbatore, and remain in effect till March 3, 2018.
