Channing Tatum to star in 'Gambit'
"X-Men" producer Lauren Shuler Donner has revealed that actor Channing Tatum is still a part of the Fox's spin-off movie "Gambit".
Donner revealed during the "Legion" presentation at the Television Critics Association winter press tour that the 36-year-old actor is attached to the Gambit standalone movie in the titular role, reported Ace Showbiz.
She added that Channing will essay the role of mutant Remy LeBeau by saying, "At this point, yes."
When asked what the "Magic Mike XXL" star was upto regarding the preparations for the role, Donner quipped, "You'll have to ask Channing."
Originally, "Gambit" was slated for release on October 7, 2016. But the film got delayed and has been struggling to come out of the pipleline.
The film's release date is yet to be unconfirmed.
