Charas seized from man visiting district jail

Charas weighing 100 gm was recovered from a person, who had come to meet an inmate lodged in the district jail here, jail authorities said.

Jailor A K Singh said Rajesh was found in possession of the drug during a check. He had come here to meet the inmate yesterday.

He was later handed over to police, Singh said, adding the matter is being investigated.
