Charred bodies of couple found

A 35-year-old man and his wife were found charred to death at their rented accommodation in Jagdishpura area of the city.

Umesh Dhakar and his wife Sheela (30), residents of Bharatpur district of Rajasthan, were engaged in the business of making copper chains, police said.

Their neighbours noticed fire in their room last night and informed police.

Fire tenders rushed to the spot and the blaze was controlled, police said, adding that the couple's charred bodies were found from the room.

Policemen said that they were probing whether it was a case of accidental fire or suicide.

The bodies have been sent for post mortem.
