Pop star Cheryl Cole is reportedly asking for 1.2 million pounds to return as a host to 'The X Factor'.
The 30-year-old singer, who was sacked from 'The X Factor' USA after a brief stint as a judge, is in negotiations with the bosses for a return to the UK version of show, reported MTV news.
"It's significant that they're talking - they've fallen out in the past and this period of peace makes her return a matter of when, rather than if," a source said.
Simon Cowell, who is the creater of the show, would readily take the singer back.
"Simon would take Cheryl back in a flash. It will be a triumphant return and a massive payday," the source added.
