Chief engineer arrested

ACB superintendent of police John Zothansanga told PTI that the FIR on the case was submitted in 2009 by the student leaders of northern part of the state and investigation was completed recently.

Another official, an assistant-cum-accountant in the office of the PWD's engineer-in-chief was also arrested by the ACB officials.

The student leaders alleged that crores of rupees was swindled in the construction of Serkhan (Mizoram) to Bagha (Assam).
