Chief Minister Anandi Patel launched the three-day statewide 'Gunotsav Abhiyan' from a school in Mahisagar district today and appealed to society to contribute towards government's efforts to provide basic aminities to villages.
She launched drive from the government-run primary school in Hardaspur, according to a statement issued here.
Speaking at the function while launching the drive to improve the quality of education in government-run schools, she said that her government is commited to provide city-like basic facilities in every village of Gujarat.

During these three days, around 6,000 officials, educationists and academicians would inspect schools in Gujarat's villages and suggests ways of improvement, the release said.
During her stay at Hardaspur primary school, Patel suggested that teachers could take half-an-hour extra class for students with lower intelligence quotient.
She also asked teachers to take students on excursions to make study interesting.
