It was a chilly day in the national capital today with the minimum temperature settling at 8 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average.
The maximum temperature was recorded at 22.2 degrees Celsius, a notch below the normal, said a MeT department official.
Visibility was recorded at 1500 meters at 5.30 AM which improved to 2,000 meters at 8.30 AM, he added.

The humidity in air oscillated between 86 and 42 per cent.
The MeT office has predicted clear skies for tomorrow.
"The skies will be mainly clear. Mist and shallow fog would occur at many places in the morning. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover at 21 and 8 degrees Celsius," said the weatherman.
Yesterday, the maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded at 21.3 degrees Celsius and 6 degrees Celsius respectively.
