Chilly morning in Delhi, shallow fog in some areas

Delhiites woke up to a chilly morning today with shallow fog in some areas even as the weatherman has predicted a clear day ahead.

"The minimum temperature recorded at 8.30 AM was 14.3 degrees Celsius, two notches above normal," a MeT official said.

The humidity was recorded at 96 per cent.

"The sky will be mainly clear during the day. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to settle around 28 and 14 degrees Celsius," the official added.

Yesterday, the maximum temperature had settled at 24.5 degrees Celsius while the minimum was recorded at 13.6 degrees Celsius.
