A Chinese man has been arrested for allegedly stabbing five people to death and injuring three others in Yuzhou City of Henan province in China.
The suspect identified as Ding Jinhua (38), was captured in Yuzhou City in Central China at around 2 pm on Saturday, police said, adding he is being interrogated.
Police in Henan Province had earleir issued a warrant for the arrest of Jinhua, who they believe was behind the stabbing incident on Thursday.

Ding, who used to run a furniture shop in Luohe City, allegedly stabbed three people to death in Dazhuzhuang Village and later drove back to the furniture market where he killed a businesswoman, the state-run news agency Xinhua reported.
He then stabbed a taxi driver to death outside the market before driving away in the vehicle.
After that Ding hijacked a second taxi, injuring the driver with a knife, it added.
The police had offered a reward of USD 8200 to anyone offering information leading to arrest of the suspect.
