A Chinese national was arrested here while trying to cross over to Nepal on fake visa documents, an immigration official said today.
"Zikun Li of China, who was on his way to Nepal from India, was arrested last evening by the immigration department in Sonauli area, as his visa papers were found to be fake," Sonauli check post immigration officer SK Tiwari said.
A case was registered against the foreign national under various sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Foreigners Act, he said.
