Sixteen officials in south China's Guangdong Province have been punished for playing golf during working hours.
The Guangdong provincial discipline watchdog said today that some of the officials played golf during working hours, some used taxpayers' money, and some asked business partners to pay for the fees.
"All departments must uphold Party discipline in daily management and tighten supervision of issues as small as playing golf," said the chief of Guangdong provincial discipline inspection commission.
