Christians observe Good Friday in TN

Christians in Tamil Nadu today observed Good Friday by thronging churches in various parts of the state and offering special prayers.

Processions were taken out in city by various parishes in the state.The faithful thronged the famous Santhome Basilica church here on the occasion.

Special 'Good Friday' services were held at all major churches, including the famous Velankanni church.

Good Friday is followed by the celebration of Easter Sunday, commemorating resurrection of Christ, on March 27.
