Christina Aguilera to guest star on 'Nashville'

Singer Cristina Aguilera is all set to appear in 'Nashville' as a pop star trying to go country.

Aguilera has a three-episode arc on the ABC's show, reported TheWrap.

'The Voice' coach is joining the Music City-set drama for a three-episode arc to play Jade St John, a mainstream pop star who travels to Nashville with the hopes of making a splash in the country music world.

The 34-year-old is returning on 'The Voice' for season 8. She took a break from the music reality show after the birth of daughter Summer Rain.
