Christy Romano feels Shia Labeouf will bounce back

Press Trust of India London
Troubled star Shia Labeouf's former co-star Christy Carlson Romano says the actor will be fine soon.

Labeouf, 28, was arrested last month for his disorderly conduct and harassment at a theatre.

Romano, 30, who played Labeouf's sister in the 2000 television series 'Even Stevens', has shown her support for him, saying male actors bounce back from troubled times faster than their female counterparts, reported Contactmusic.

Labeouf is reportedly receiving treatment for alcohol addiction.

"I think he's such a talented person. I think he's going to be fine. Men seem to be able to come through of (sic) whatever they have going on publicly much easier than female actresses.

"He's just so talented, too, that I think everyone will be able to push forward through whatever it is he's going to be going through in the future too," she said.
