A trainee sub-inspector of CISF allegedly committed suicide at the National Industrial Security Academy (NISA) in Hakimpet here today, police said.
Sachin (23), a native of Haryana, was found hanging in his room at the academy by his room-mate at around 9 AM, Jawaharnagar Police Inspector S Ashok Kumar told PTI.
As per his room-mate, Sachin was under depression for the past three months following the death of his father, he said.
"After completion of the PT parade today morning, he went to his room and hanged himself," the police officer said adding that no suicide note was found.
A case under CrPC section 174 has been registered and further probe is on, police said.
Sachin had joined as a trainee SI at the academy in October last year, they added.
