'City of Harmony' wins the Sri Shamlal Gupta Mem Cup

'City of Harmony' (jockey P Trevor up) won the Sri Shamlal Gupta Memorial Cup (about) 1400 Metres for Category II horses, the main event on the First day of the 34-day Hyderabad winter races held here today.

M S'vas Reddy trained 'George Cross' ably ridden by jockey P Trevor claimed the Welcome Cup Plate the supporting event of the day.

Trainer D Netto and jockeys P Trevor and Suraj Narredu claimed a double each.

Four first favourites obliged in a card of nine events.
