Civilian contract worker at Naval base found dead at quarters

: Acivilian contract employee working at the naval base here was found hanging from the ceiling at the worker's quarters.

Gopalakrishnan (56), a native of Kollam, was found hangingat the worker's quarters at about 7.30 PM yesterday, a Navy official said.

The circumstances leading to his unnatural death was being investigated by police, the Navy said.

Gopalakrishnan is survived by his wife and two adult children.
