Civilian injured in petrol bomb attack on policemen

Miscreants today hurled a petrol bomb on a police party at Dalgate area of Srinagar,resulting in injuries to a civilian, police said.

"A petrol bomb was hurled towards a police party at Badyari Chowk in Dalgate area but it missed the intended target and exploded on the roadside," a police official said.

A cab driver was injured in the explosion, the official said, adding he has been admitted to a local hospital where his condition is stated to be stable.
