Altogether 14 persons were
today arrested from posh Salt Lake township of North 24 Parganas district for their alleged involvement in a clash over a gymnasium, police said.
The clash followed a quarrel between owners of the gym and the house, a portion of which was rented out to the gym in DD block of Salt Lake.
The two had frequent quarrels over some issues and the house owner allegedly snapped the electricity connection of the gym, police said.
A heated exchange of words between the two over this led to a clash between two groups and the police arrested 14 persons including the gym owner.
