Class 10 student commits suicide over poor marks

A Class 10 female student allegedly committed suicide by consuming insecticide in Jhalawar district after she scored poor marks in her exam, police said today.

Guddi Bai Dangi, 18, a resident of Dev Nagar, was apparently depressed after she got less marks in her Class 10 result, which was announced yesterday, they said.

She was admitted to the district hospital where she died today, police said.

The body has been handed over to her family members after post-mortem, they added.
