Class 5 student dies after being hit by tanker

A class 5 student died after he was hit by a tanker-trolley while returning home here, police said Wednesday.

The incident occurred Tuesday, they said.

Sahil, 11, was hit by a tanker-trolley while he was returning home from school,

Station House Officer at Khanpur police station Balwan Singh said, adding he died on the spot.

The SHO added the body was sent for post-mortem, while the tanker was seized.
