Class X boy goes missing, abduction suspected

A class XI student was allegedly abducted by unknown persons from Balligunj area in south Kolkata today, the police said.

Surajit Mondal, student of a school in Bhawanipur locality, did not return home after school.

His parents lodged a complaint with the police tonight alleging that Surajit could have been kidnapped as his clothes and mobile were found abandoned in an nearby area.

The police have started an investigation.
