Clerk commits suicide in court

A 50-year-old clerk of a court allegedly committed suicide at the court room in Etah today, police said.

Bhagwan Das, employed as a file clerk in the court of ADM Finance allegedly hanged himself from a fan this morning, they said.

According to CCTV footage, the deceased entered the court room by opening the locks around 8.26 AM and the employees who came around 8.32 AM found him hanging from the fan, police said, adding, the body has been sent for postmortem and investigations are on.
