Cloudburst hits Manali, no loss of life reported

A cloudburst has been reported at Anjani Mahadev area of Himachal Pradesh's Manali town today, the police said.

No loss of human life has been reported , Kullu Superintendent of Police (SP) Shalini Agnihotri said.

Debris swept by gushing water amid heavy rains accumulated in the Anjani Mahadev nullah and machinery has been pressed into service to clear it, the SP said.

Most parts of Himachal Pradesh were lashed by heavy to very heavy rain today, the meteorological department said.
