Cloves up on scattered demand

Cloves prices were marginally up by Rs 5 per kg at the wholesale kirana market in the national capital today on mild demand.

However, other spices held steady in thin trade.

Marketmen attributed the rise in cloves prices to some demand from retailers.

Cloves inched up by Rs 5 to Rs 555-630 per kg.
