: Indian Coast Guard and the Australian Border Force shared ideas on maritime security during a four-day training programme held here to bolster ties between the two countries.
The programme was conducted between November 26 and November 30, a press release from the Coast Guard said here.
Sixteen officials from Coast Guard (East) region, two each from the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Customs and Coastal Security Group and two instructors from the Australian Border Force participated in the 'Vessel Search Technique' programme, the release said.
During the training, the officials from the two nations shared tips on skills and knowledge that would help in carrying out vessel search operations, it said.
