In restricted activity, coconut oil prices strengthened by Rs 60 per tin at the wholesale oils and oilseeds market on rising demand alongwith higher advices from southern region.
However, other edible and non-edible oils moved in a tight range in limited deals and settled around previous levels.
Marketmen said rising demand alongwith higher advices from southern region mainly pushed up coconut oil prices.
In the national capital, coconut oil strengthened by Rs 60 to Rs 1,550-1,600 per tin.

Vanaspati Ghee (15-litre tin) 1,160-1,290.
