Freight rates for nine tonne load section for Kochi and Coimbatore rose by Rs 1,000 in the local truck transport market today on tight position of trucks.
Transporters said less availability of trucks mainly pushed up Coimbatore and Kochi rates.
Capital to Kochi and Coimbatore rates moved up by Rs 1,000 each at Rs 76,000 and Rs 73,000.
