Intense cold conditions continued in western parts of Rajasthan, with Jaisalmer recording lowest temperature in the state at 1.7 degrees Celsius, even as night temperatures rose slightly in other parts of the desert state.
Churu recorded a low of 2.2 degrees Celsius, while Bikaner registered night temperature of 2.5 degrees Celsius, the MeT department said.
Sriganganagar recorded minimum temperature of 3.2 degrees Celsius, while Barmer had a low of 4.6 degrees Celsius, the MeT said.

The night temperature in Ajmer touched 5.7 degrees Celsius, while Jaipur and Kota were comparatively warmer at 10.2 degrees Celsius and 12.3 degrees Celsius respectively.
Cold wave conditions prevailing at some places are likely to continue for the next 24 hours, the MeT office said.
