Cold wave conditions persisted in many parts of Uttar Pradesh where dense to very dense fog occurred at several places, the weather office said today.
Lakhimpur Kheri recorded the lowest temperature at four degrees Celsius.
Night and day temperature rose in Faizabad, Lucknow, Bareilly, Moradabad, Agra and Meerut divisions, giving some respite from chilly weather conditions.
Dense to very dense fog is likely in some parts of eastern Uttar Pradesh tomorrow, the Met office predicted.
