Former 'Scandal' star Columbus Short is facing a lawsuit from the man who accused him of assault in March.
The actor was charged with felony aggravated battery for his alleged involvement in a bar fight in Los Angeles after he was accused of punching a fellow patron in the face, reported TMZ online.
Short, who quit the hit TV drama amid his legal woes, pleaded not guilty to the allegations in court in May and is currently free on bail.
However, he is now being sued by the alleged victim, named as Felton Hyche III, who claims in the lawsuit that he was hospitalised and treated for a number of broken bones in his face.
