Comedy legend Dick Van Dyke is doing fine after being rescued from his burning sports car while he was driving on the 101 Freeway in Calabasas, California.
Dyke, 87, later tweeted a picture of his car, with the caption "Used Jag for sale REAL CHEAP!!"
The actor's wife, Arlene Van Dyke, tweeted a Vine video of the aftermath and wrote "He's fine thank God!!" after the incident. Dyke retweeted her post and later shared his own picture of the incident.

The California Highway Patrol were alerted about the incident at about 2 pm, said Hollywood Reporter quoting the agency's incident log.
A pair of off-duty nurses assisted the driver, and two lanes were closed for a short time. Van Dyke was not mentioned by name in the incident report which also stated that the man may not have been aware that his car was on fire before being rescued.
Hollywood website TMZ posted the video of Van Dyke's burning car, with a man named Jason Pennington telling the site he pulled the actor from the car.
