Commissioner of Rly safety inspects Palani-Pollachi sector

: Satish Kumar Mittal, Commissioner of Railway Safety, Southern Circle, Bangalore, accompanied by top railway officials today inspected the Palani-Pollachi section by motor trolley.

He also inspected stations in the newly converted Broad Gauge line between Palani-Pollachi railway stations, a railway release said.

The Commissioner will conduct a high speed trial run between Palani-Pollachi tomorrow, most likely between 1530 hrs and 1630 hrs it said and requested people not to cross tracks nor go near it during this period and also avoid going over unmanned level crossings in the sector.
