The two-member committee set by the Union HRD Ministry to probe the allegations of administrative and financial irregularities against Manipur University Vice-Chancellor A P Pandey Thursday asked the protesting bodies to submit their statements by September 16.
The two member committee arrived here Thursday to probe the allegations against Pandey.
In a statement made available to the media, the committee informed there are 18 points of allegations against Pandey.

Retired Chief Justice of Meghalaya High Court, Justice T Nandakumar is the chairman of the committee while former VC of Tezpur University, Prof MK Choudhury is the member of the committee.
The two-member committee was instituted on August 17 last by HRD ministry after a memorandum of agreement was signed by representative of HRD Ministry, state government and protesting bodies of Manipur University.
