Rapper Common has revealed that he will play a villain named Monster T in the David Ayer-directed film "Suicide Squad".
While promoting his next film "Barbershop: The Next Cut" alongside Ice Cube, Common, whose real name is Lonnie Rashid Lynn Jr, made the revelation, reported Ace Showbiz.
"My role is basically a character who's in business with The Joker," the 44-year-old rapper said.
The DC supervillain film is due to hit US theaters on August 5.
It will also star Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Viola Davis, Joel Kinnaman, Jai Courtney, Cara Delevingne, Will Smith among others.
