Conductor killed as bus overturns in UP

A 45-year-old person was killed today and 15 others injured when the private bus in which they were travelling overturned and fell into a roadside ditch on Badaun-Farrukhabad road.

The driver of the bus,carrying passengers from Badaun, lost control while trying to save another vehicle coming from the opposite direction and overturned near Sanjarpur village under Alapur police station area, Superintendent of Police City Anil Kumar Yadav said.

The conductor of the bus, Aryendra Kumar was killed in the mishap, Yadav said.

The injured have been admitted to the district hospital here where the condition of three was stated to be serious, the SP said.
