Cong appoints 2 more VPs, 20 Gen Secys in Punjab
Seeking to strengthen the organisation in poll-bound Punjab, Congress today brought in two more Vice-Presidents, 20 General Secretaries in the state unit.
The party also brought in 12 permanent invitees to the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) and 8 special invitees and also made 2 additional PCC members.
Congress is in political wilderness in the state for nearly decade and is making a determined bid to wrest power from ruling SAD-BJP alliance.
