Cong approves candidates for Ktk Legislative Council polls

Congress today approved candidates for biennial elections to the state Legislative Councils in Karnataka from local authorities constituencies.

The list, which was approved by Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi, includes names of state leaders like K C Kondaiah.

The election to the legislative council will be from local authorities constituencies of Bijapur, Bangalore Rural, Bangalore Urban, Belgaum, Bellary, Bidar, Chikamangalore, Chitradurg, Dakshin Kannada, Dharwad, Gulbarga, Hasan, Kodagu, Kolar, Mandhya, Mysore, Raichur, Shimoga, Tumkur, Uttara Kannada.
