The ruling Congress in Puducherry today announced its support to the dawn-to-dusk bandh called by the Pattali Makkal Katchi over Cauvery issue here tomorrow.
Puducherry PCC president and PWD Minister A Namassivayam alleged in a release that the Centre had been dragging its feet in forming the Cauvery Management Board
He appealed to all sections of the Congress, traders, business community and others in Puducherry to "overwhelmingly support tomorrow's bandh."
The Union Territory had witnessed a DMK-sponsored opposition bandh on April 5 on the Cauvery issue.
