If a senior Congress leader here is to be believed, then as many as 15 ambulances purchased from his Constituency Development Fund have gone missing between 2011-12 and now demands a probe into it.
A S Micky, who is also a former Deputy Chairman of Legislative Council, claimed that 15 ambulances purchased from his fund as Legislative Council member could not be traced.
"I demand probe into the missing of fifteen ambulances meant for government hospitals in various districts," Micky told reporters here this evening.
"Each vehicle has been purchased at a cost of Rs 3.5 lakh and over Rs 50 lakh has been withdrawn from my CDF," he alleged, adding that none of these ambulances are with the local hospital.
