Cong MLA appointed HP Finance Commission chairman

The Himachal Pradesh government today appointed Congress MLA Kuldeep Kumar as chairman of the state Finance Commission.

Kumar, who represents Chintpurni seat in the assembly, will have the status of a Cabinet minister, officials said.

Former Speaker Gangu Ram Musafir was appointed Deputy Chairman of state Planning Board.

He will also have a Cabinet rank, the officials said.
