Congress today demanded action against BJP MP Virendra Singh for his alleged objectionable remarks against Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi.
Party members in Lok Sabha led by chief whip Jyotiraditya Scindia met Speaker Sumitra Mahajan soon after Singh's speech in the House during discussion on drought, in which he made the alleged remarks, former IYC chief Rajeev Satav said.
The delegation which also included K C Vengopal, Ravneet Singh Bittoo, Sushmita Dev also complained against Singh for making "unparliamentary" remarks against Jyotiraditya Scindia.

In the debate, Singh said while the Congress is talking about the pain of the farmers, their leaders Jyotiraditya Scindia and Rahul Gandhi cannot even identify between bajra, jowar and wheat.
"They have known farmers through books," he said, adding that the Congress had a problem with a "poor" becoming the Prime Minister and it thought that the post was reserved only for those from the Nehru Gandhi family.
Deputy Speaker M Thambi Durai assured the Congress members and said anything unparliamentary would not go on record.
