Cong Seva Dal chief organiser assumes charge

Newly-appointed chief organiser of the All India Congress Seva Dal Lalji Desai today assumed charge of the post at the party headquarters here today.

Addressing a gathering on the occasion here, Desai said he would strive to strengthen the party organisation and fight fissiparous forces, a release said.

Desai's predecessor, Mahendra Joshi, was also present at the occasion.
