Cong to stage protests in Telangana tomorrow on Karna issue

Congress would organise protests across Telangana tomorrow against the decision of the Karnataka Governor inviting BJP leader BS Yeddyurappa to form the government, AICC functionary R C Khuntia said today.

Dharnas and rallies would be organised across the state, Khuntia, incharge of Congress affairs in Telangana, told reporters.

The AICC has called for protests all over the country against the "partial and authoritarian act" of the governor," he said.

Leader of Opposition in Telangana Legislative Council Mohammad Ali Shabbir urged Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to join those who are "trying to save democracy" in the Karnataka issue.
