Congo national escapes from train in Raj; held again

A Congo national, who was accused in a case of fraud in Delhi, today managed to escape from the train at Bharatpur station while being taken from Mumbai to the national capital by Delhi Police, but was caught again after a two-hour long search, police said today.

23-year-old Amami Amuli managed to escape from window of the train's toilet, moments after the train left Bharatpur station this afternoon, SHO Kumher police station Niyaj Mohammad said.

The Delhi Police team, who was escorting Amuli, informed the Government Railway Police and local police following which the accused was caught after two hour long search, about two km away from the area where he jumped out of the train, SHO said, adding he was later handed over to Delhi police.
