Press Trust of India  |  Ranchi

Abbas today accused the of creating hurdles in the country's path of development.

But the people would not allow this to happen, he said here during the BJP's day-long nationwide protest against the recent Parliament washout.

The hunger strike has been organised to expose the party's feudal thought and to disrupt all-round development, the said.

On one hand the is thinking to take the country towards development and on the other hand the and some of its misguided allies are trying to create hurdles, said.

By not allowing the Parliament to function, the Congress had put a big obstacle in the countrys development, he said.

Continuous efforts were being made to affect the developmental programmes in the country and the Congress had been trying to ignore the countrys unity, values and parliamentary dignity, he alleged.

also said that the opposition have become nervous at the pace of development and change under the prime minister.

They are engaging in things like return of awards, raising intolerance and caste issues, but the people have strong belief in the leadership of the prime minister, resulting in nullifying all their conspiracies, he said.
