Congress leader joins PDP

Jammu and Kashmir Congress leader Abdul Majid Padder today joined the opposition Peoples Democratic Party along with his supporters.

Padder, who had contested Assembly elections from the Noorabad constituency in Kulgam district, joined in presence of PDP President Mehbooba Mufti, a party spokesperson said.

Speaking on the occasion, Mufti claimed the National Conference was feeling "insecure" due to the growing popularity of PDP.
