Constable killed, 2 policemen hurt as truck rams police jeep

A constable was killed and two other policemen were injured today when a truck hit a police jeep in CB Ganj area here.

The incident occurred at around 7.15 AM when the victims were on patrolling duty. The deceased has been identified as constable Rajesh Babu Verma (32) while those injured are sub-inspector Rampal Singh and constable Kartar Singh, SP, City, Sameer Saurabh said.

Police have arrested the driver and seized the truck.
